Seminar Description

This seminar focuses on battles, revolts, warriors, and heroes equally represented in the arts of Latin America from pre-Hispanic to modernistic times. We will explore a variety of monuments in different media (painting, sculpture, architecture, books, furniture, etc.) placing them into their historical contexts.
